Evangelical leader says he bought meth
By CATHERINE TSAI, Associated Press

The Lord has had us post several articles concerning the infiltration of gay men and pedophiles into Roman Catholic Seminaries which later became priests and bishops. At the time Evangelicals, Fundamentalists and Pentecostals collectively rubbed their hands together with glee and wagging their finger at these woes in the Roman Catholic Church as this being a definitive sign of their sin and corruption, and not even being Christian.

We could not do so because such sin defaces Christ and puts him to open shame, and all who call upon the name of the Lord despite their erroneous or corrupted beliefs are still members of His body and as such when one suffers we all suffer.

At the time the word of the Lord came that this infiltration of Gay men and pedophiles had occurred in Evangelical fundamentalist and Pentecostal seminaries as well. And the Lord spoke that the firestorm of the unveiling of these perverse and evil men would rain upon the Fundamentalists and Evangelicals, and then upon the Pentecostals and Charismatics.

We speak these things not because we wish or call for these things to come to pass but that the Lord has announced them beforehand.  These things are heartbreaking, these things shall stumble, and these things are a direct result from these churches having abandoned the preaching of sin, righteousness, and the judgment.

For having preached a judicial salvation – devoid of one have a personal knowledge of God or personal relationship with God.  Because the man has confessed to his purchasing meth from this gay man, and having a  hotel he was staying in call in this male gay prostitute (mentioned in a previous article) it is hard for him to declare himself clean and pure of such things, and fit to continue in the ministry of a church and as the head of a evangelical organization. The Evangelical and fundamentalist church have not yet begun to see the sin and corruption that they have allowed to grown in their midst in the last 30 years. We are in a time of exposing. And the Lord shall indeed expose all that which has been done under the cover of darkness in the church, evil and perverse things that the church has cast a blind eye to all these years.  God’s intent in these things is to bring those who would come to Him. To bring them to a repentance, a cleansing, a separation, and a coming unto His face.

Come and see!

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Rev. Ted Haggard said Friday he bought methamphetamine and received a massage from a male prostitute. (How did he know this?) But the influential Christian evangelist insisted he threw the drugs away and never had sex with the man.

Haggard, who as president of the National Association of Evangelicals wielded influence on Capitol Hill and condemned both gay marriage and homosexuality, resigned on Thursday after a Denver man named Mike Jones claimed that he had many drug-fueled trysts with Haggard.

On Friday, Haggard said that he received a massage from Jones after being referred to him by a Denver hotel, and that he bought meth for himself from the man. These are admissions made by this preacher as to his involvement with this man. And his purchasing meth for himself.  Meth is not a entry level drug for first time users it is very rugged and very dangerous stuff.  – If a person is depressed there are many things that they would use long before going for meth. This man was a wealthy wealthy preacher probably pulling down a quarter million a year. This man as the pastor of a large assembly as a perk had free medical care and could have gotten through a doctor or two virtually any prescription medication he wanted.  So for such a man to go to a hotel and have the hotel contact or recommend for a guest a drug dealer/gay prostitute and then purchase meth from him –indicates here that this preacher was already long familiar with such things and hiss conscience was so seared that he found little of no offense in doing such things,

But Haggard said he never had sex with Jones. (This in itself is incredibly suspicious, because he claims to have only known this man as a drug dealer, Instead of this preacher declaring he was not gay, or that he abhorred or revolted by such a evil and perverted suggestion he declares that “he never had sex with the man” Opening paragraph.) And as for the drugs, "I was tempted, but I never used it,"(Depending on the length of his hair, hair samples would prove or disprove this statement.) the 50-year-old Haggard told reporters from his vehicle while leaving his home with his wife and three of his five children. (One has to be heart broken especially for his wife and five children.)

Jones, 49, denied selling meth to Haggard. "Never," he told MSNBC. Haggard "met someone else that I had hooked him up with to buy it." (This man is justifiably fearful of criminal action as to his being tagged as a drug dealer – so he may or may not be lying. On the other hand if the preacher had said I contacted this gay prostitute and later turned me on to a drug dealer it would have been all the more of an admission to gay sex.)

Jones also scoffed at the idea that a hotel would have sent Haggard to him. "No concierge in Denver would have referred me," he said. He said he had advertised himself as an escort only in gay publications or on gay Web sites. (This is a pretty solid statement, the idea of any hotel connecting their patronage to gay prostitutes or to drug dealers dealing meth is a outrageous idea onless this preacher was staying at a flea bag hotel known for this sort of thing. Hotel cameras and hotel phone records would be able to tell the tale here establishing when this preacher made contact , how long they talked, when the man showed up and when he left.

Jones did not immediately return calls from The Associated Press on Friday.

In addition to resigning his post at the NAE, which claims 30 million members, Haggard stepped aside as leader of his 14,000-member New Life Church pending a church investigation. In a TV interview this week, he said: "I never had a gay relationship with anybody, and I'm steady with my wife, I'm faithful to my wife." (Here now he revised his words but the term “gay relationship” is very troubling. This is not the words that any preacher that is ardently against homosexual activities would EVER use. The next words as damning as well “I am steady with my wife.” The phrase normally used is my marriage is steady. “I’m faithful to my wife.” – Note here he did not say he loved his wife  and his children and could never sin against them in such a way. – the absence of any mention of these things is very telling.

In Denver, where Jones said his encounters with Haggard took place, police said in a news release they planned to contact the people involved for information on whether a crime was committed. (The crime would be a hotel dealing drugs and the accuser dealing drugs. – But here again is a tidbit how often did this Pastor from Colorado Springs go to Denver and stay at this and other hotels alone, and what business was he supposedly on?) The statement did not say whether an investigation was under way, and police spokeswoman Virginia Quinones declined to elaborate.

Lynn Kimbrough, a spokeswoman for the (Denver) district attorney's office, said that a public admission (Presumably by Jones) isn't enough by itself to bring a case, but that charges will be filed if criminal conduct can be proved.

Jones claims Haggard paid him for sex nearly every month for three years until August. (This would entail a whole lot of visits and hotel stays to Denver) He said Haggard identified himself as "Art." (This may be verifiable as to what name this preacher registered himself under.) Jones said that he learned who Haggard really was when he saw the evangelical leader on television. (The circumstances of this preacher being on TV locally are in relation to the ballot initiative and the ad campaign no doubt began in September. So that the meth purchase and whatever went on here all ceased after August. The idea that this man was able to recognize this preacher implies more than 50 or 100 dollars being passed through a chained hotel door and the meth being handed back. We should also mention here that if there would have been a continued relationship here that this man Jones should have known some measure of details of this preachers home life.

Jones said he went public with the allegations because Haggard has supported a measure on Tuesday's ballot that would amend the state constitution to ban gay marriage. Jones said he was also angry that Haggard in public condemned gay sex.

Haggard, who had been president of the NAE since 2003, has participated in conservative Christian leaders' conference calls with White House staffers and lobbied members of Congress last year on

The NAE's executive committee issued a statement Friday praising Haggard's service but saying "it is especially serious when a pastor and prominent Christian leader deliberately violates God's standards of conduct."

"Due to the seriousness of Rev. Haggard's misconduct while in the leadership roles he held, we anticipate that an extended period of recovery will be appropriate," This is an incredibly damning statement from the NAF organization saying that they will continue to let him minister in their body  -- That all of this in their estimation only requires a recovery period, and then he will be good to go.

Corwin Smidt, a political scientist at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., and director of the Institute for the Study of Christianity and Politics there, said that Haggard's role with the association gave him some political clout, but that the group's focus is more on religion than political activism.  Here now we find out the real reason in this evangelical groups desire to keep this man regardless of his sin. Haggard was the point man for them in political activism and for them to dump him is to lose all his hard earned political contacts – and this demonstrates that much the opposite of what is stated here is the truth – these men are concerned far more with their political activist goals than with Christ and the gospel. – As we have clearly stated elsewhere concerning political activism being ungodly and in direct disobedience to the command of Christ, this is all about earthly and world power, and the willingness of religious pharisaical men to deal with the devil to gain it.

"It isn't necessarily that all evangelicals are paying close attention to what he's saying and doing, but he is an important leader," (He still is – because of his contacts with the world and the devil and the group can not afford to lose the clout this man represents.) Schmidt said.

James Dobson, head of Focus on the Family, an influential conservative Christian ministry based in Colorado Springs, said he was "heartsick" over the allegations. He described Haggard as his close friend and colleague. (We see that Doctor James Dobson here is not “exercised” or “outraged” as he has been by gay activist organizations or by the doings of liberal congressmen who he threatened to have voted out. This is extremely instructive to Dobson’s “Corrupt” and “Unbiblical” evangelical views concerning sin in the camp and sin in his midst. Here we read he is only “heartsick” and speaking of  a friend and colleague.  Compare this with Paul when he found out a man married to his mother had married with the blessing of the Corinthian elders. Compare this with Paul when he found Peter and the apostles and elders of the whole church in error over circumcision, compare this with Paul finding false teachers and false apostles in their midst and naming names and casting them out of their midst.  – In both the old and new covenant sin in the midst of the church was no light matter and especially when it involved shepherds of the flock watchmen and would be prophets. How is this different that Jimmy Swaggart or James Baker from PLT? – the difference is neither Swaggart nor baker were political activists, and I dare say if they had been they would have been propped up and still been in power today. )

Aaron Stern, another pastor at New Life, told Associated Press Television News on Friday that Haggard is a man of integrity (This is again amazing stuff because of what Haggard has already confessed to.) and that church members don't know whether to believe the allegations.

Stern said he has been telling church members seeking his advice: "People do things we don't expect them to do, but in the midst of all of that our God is faithful, our God is strong."

Jones took a lie-detector test Friday, and his answers to questions about whether he had sexual contact with Haggard "indicated deception," (Lie detectors is a misnomer it is a stress detector. These have been dropped by law enforcement, stress detector evidence is inadmissible in court because of its great unreliability. -- Hopefully the police will fully investigate – and be able to lay all of bare before the church.) said John Kresnick, who administered the test free at the request of a Denver radio station.  Jones told reporters afterward: "I am confused why I failed that, other than the fact that I'm totally exhausted." (I have little doubt this man’s soul is vexed with not only his admitted sin before God, but his potential in going to jail and serving hard time over this as well.  At the time of the lie detector session this man had more to lose that the preacher.)

In late breaking news on Sunday . . .

The Overseeing Board of Haggard’s Church took strong action Saturday.
"Our investigation and Pastor Haggard's public statements have proven without a doubt that he has committed sexually immoral conduct," the independent board said in a statement.  And they voted to dismiss Him. Haggard was "informed of this decision," the statement said, and he "agreed as well that he should be dismissed."
