The Daughters of
Philippians 4:2-4 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that
they be of the same mind in the Lord. And I
entreat thee also, true yoke-fellow, help
(Greek Sul-Lambano) those women which labored (Or joined in warfare) with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with
other my fellow laborers, whose names are in the book of life. (Paul here is citing Judges 21:20-24 Where the men of Benjamin who survived the war so as to prevent the
tribe from disappearing were told to wait for the daughters of Shiloh
to come dancing in the vineyards and for everyone to seize (Lambano) for him a wife. So that here Paul here is
declaring he has with him some daughters
of Sul-Lambano means: To seize in a sexual
manner, To capture, To become pregnant, To
conceive, To help and come to the aid of.

4:11And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, (Greek Sul-Lambano
To become pregnant) and
bare Cain, and said, I have` gotten a man from the LORD.
Song of Solomon 3:1,5 By night on my bed I sought him whom my
soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him
not. -- It was but a little that I -- found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, (Greek
Sul-Lambano Laid hold upon. –
in an intense relational or sexual manner.) and would not let him go, until I had
brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that
conceived me. Song of Solomon 8:2 I would lead thee, (Greek Sul-Lambano Laid
hold upon – in an intense relational or sexual manner.)
and bring thee into my mother's house, who
would instruct me: (As
to how) I would cause thee (Successfully
provoke or tempt thee) to drink of (My) spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate. (Singular rather than plural as her breast

21:20-24 Therefore they commanded the children
of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards; And see, and,
behold, if the daughters of Shiloh (Joyously) come out
(singing and) to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch
you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land
of Benjamin. And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren
come unto us to complain, that we will say unto them, Be favourable unto them for our sakes:
because we reserved not to each man his
wife in the war: for ye did not give (Help) unto them
at this time, that ye should be guilty. (Those that did not participate got no dancing virgins) And the children of Benjamin did so,
and took them (Greek Lambano

according to their number, of them that danced, whom they caught: (Greek

or to seize in an intense relational or sexual manner.) and they went and returned unto their inheritance,
(To build it with their wives) and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them. And the children of
Paul here writes to the Philippians, who were short on wives like so many of the early churches and here he writes that he has will him a bunch of women trained up in the Lord overflowing with fruitfulness. And he so to speak is going to have these women out in a vineyard somewhere around this church joyously dancing and praising the Lord, and that any of the man of this small church that have fought the fight can run into this vineyard and Sul-Lambano To seize and impregnate any one of these willing brides and take her home. I think we can safely say that when the available men
in the Paul in I Corinthians mentions among other things that if any worry that they will pass the flower of their age -- they should marry, and apparently this very thing occurred with several women on his missionary team – So Paul did what no Pastor would do today that his advertise all the available members of his church that desired to marry. We are in times of crisis and this demands bold responses from those who are set in the ministry. I Corinthains 7 36 But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely (A-schemonein to be without schema or his schema is broken ) toward his virgin (Greek Par-thenon – par - Toward Themon To produce, or To lay or To Lie – Partner in fruitfulness, Sex partner) , (or) if she (Greek he) (Missing Greek word -- Nomizei Worries he will) pass the flower of her (His) age, (To produce seed) and (that he) need (is) so required, (then) let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry. (Paul here commands: Let not either the parents or those in the ministry prevent them.) |
