Moses:The Great Tribulation and End Time Call of God P-3

So having been prophetically warned by Moses that something big was up. And being given the Promise that Moses (would) return unto them again, probably within hours the 70 elders began to grow weary and began to wonder out loud if and when Moses would ever return. And knowing human nature some probably first began joking about the fire of God consuming Moses and his not returning. With the seed planted it was only then a matter of time until they began to wonder if Moses really would return of had he been judged and destroyed by God. This invariably would have led to worried discussions about whether they would still receive this manna. and who would get water from a rock for them? And this in turn would have led to discussions as to what Aaron’s abilities were and weren’t as he was the only other man apart from Moses that purported to speak for this God.

And the thought of Moses not returning but rather being judged by this terrible and great God more than likely caused them to wondered if this were so that what would protect them for this God and if Aaron indeed had power with this God to protect them.

In other words for this sin to have occurred the seed had to have been planted first, and watered, and weeded, so when the harvest came some 40 days later.  The serpent could appear as the subtle salesman and collect this harvest. And in this case we see the collection attempt being made in the form of the laity speaking and wondering these same things that the 70 elders had no doubt been speaking of and grumbling about for the last 40 days. So is there any surprise that there was a ground swell of opinion that naturally agreed with their very contentions? I say that this did not just happen but it was the result of what they had been speaking and professing all along so naturally the 70 elders found themselves in agreement with the word of the laity because they  were their own words to start with.

And here now came the tempter came to collect what was his. – I am now to a place when I read the following passage that tears well up in my eyes.
Exodus 32:1 1And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together (that would include the 70 as they were these tribes and families leaders) unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
Had the 70 elders remained segregated from the people tarrying on the side of the mount – this well might not have occurred.  It was when they neglected their post and intermingled and let their fears leaven through the whole loaf that the situation went out of control. And we know that they abandoned their post because when Moses and Joshua descended the mount scripture tells us that they did not meet the elders but instead came straight into camp.

It was not so much that the laity was frightened, that they were confused by Moses taking longer than expected, and that these little one’s hearts were filled with doubt. It is this irrational fear that after all that they had seen and heard over the last 6 months of their lives that they did not sense that God actually loved them and cared for them.

That this God who had spoken and visited Abraham and promised that he would bring them out of Egypt at a specific date had indeed delivered. And with such great signs and wonders He sis so, He then parted a sea, and carried them across, and all but destroyed the greatest military power on earth. And now He was miraculously providing manna and water from a rock and had audibly spoken and then visibly appeared and they sat and partook of a covenant meal with Him.  How with all this happening over a period of mere months could they suddenly come down with this irrational fear that God had forsaken them? How after He had so-cared and so-provided could they suddenly be struck with an irrational fear that they were no longer under His care or His protection, believing instead that He had brought them out to the desert to die either by hunger, thirst, or being destroyed by their enemies?

In the New Testament we are told time and again that these people failed because they had no faith. And we can see that this was indeed a crisis of Faith, but one must ask in the light of all of this’ What more could God have done for these people that they might have believed? Certainly no more miracles on top of all that they had already seen and heard would have changed the underlying unbelief they harbored in their hard hearts.

This is a situation that did not have to be.  They had the 70 elders, they had Nadab, and Abihu they had Aaron and Hur and they had the book of the covenant. All of these 74 men had seen God, all of these 74 men had seen and heard all that Moses had spoken over and over. And  if it were possible that they somehow all of these men all at the same time could not remember a single word of what God had auibly spoken or Moses had repeated in their ears, surely at least 1 out of 74 could have remembered that Moses left a copy of the book in his tent that could have been pulled out at any time and read. And yet this never happened.

And when this Cabal came before Aaron not one man from among all of them stood up and cried out: How can we sin against the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and do such wickedness?  Neither did one man from among them cried out:  How can we even think of making a god of stone, wood, or metal when this great God we have all seen and heard has expressly forbidden such an act?

And likewise not one man from among all of them stood up and said let’s hold that thought for a moment, and call for Aaron to consult the Lord for us so we might know what became of Moses.

And likewise not one man from among all of them stood up and said: Let us offer some burnt offering and peace offerings in Moses behalf, perchance that he might return unto us quicker

And perhaps most damning of all, is that not one from among all of Israel that day said: Ye do sin against God! But as for me and my house we shall not. And he called out to his brethren and said: Who is on the Lord’s side come with us and we shall wait at the foot of the mount for Moses that we be not made partakers of your sins.

Unfortunately not one of those things happened and not one among all that had seen God and that had heard his audible voice and had seen his visage not one spoke up against any of this.

Exodus 32:2-3 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. 3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

Without the slightest bit of reservation, and without the slightest bit of remorse Aaron caused all the children of Israel to sin, in much the same scope and sense as Jeroboam the son of Nebat caused all of the Nation of Israel to sin some 300 – 400 years later when the Kingdom of Israel was split from the kingdom of Judah and for that Jeroboam was deeply reviled and hated of God throughout the books of kings and chronicle.

This should be all the more shocking when we bring up the Laities original complaint.  For as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
Does Aaron at all deal with the laities question as to what became of Moses? At the death of Moses in Deuteronomy we read that Joshua had search parties go out and search for Moses but Aaron did not. Neither did Aaron call for a fast, order burnt offerings be made on the still standing altars of dirt and seek God for what had happened to Moses.

I think that it is incredibly evident why Aaron did not do any of the things that one would have expected him to do. For within a matter of chapters He and Miriam voice their conceit and desire to supplant Moses and his seat before God. I will suggest here that Aaron at this point was so jealous of Moses he could not see straight and even later with being given the underserved honor as the people’s high priest, the one to walk inside the holy of holies to speak directly with God and make atonement for himself and this people was not enough – Aaron clearly lusted after Moses position and at this point he half believing that good fortune has come his way with Moses sudden and untimely death  is not going to look this gift horse in the mouth instead he is going to grant these people exactly what they want in spades. And I say that satan entered into Aaron’s heart and Aaron here became the embodiment of the subtle salesman –seeking to make the laity wallow in sin and corrupt themselves so greatly that they could never recover from it.

Once Aaron cold heartedly declared break off your earrings, I need to tell you that this was no five-minute task. Far from it it probably took them hours just to gather all of those earrings. And as the gold earrings tossed tinkled in the heap at the fallen Apostle Aaron’s feet, one must wonder what could have been going through Aaron’s darkened mind and corrupt heart.

Realize in order to commit this sin And they had not only to built a fire to melt these hundreds of thousands of gold earrings but they had to make a vessel to smelt the gold in, and they had to make a mold to pour the molten gold into to make it a calf-like idol and once they broke open the mold they then set to work on it as indicated with scripture with graving tools fashioning I imagine its eyes, ears, mouth, and other details. So all told this project took days to produce this object of sin and wickedness rather then a few hours.

I would refer now to another article on this site “Old-Fashioned Sin and The Subtle Salesman” – and tell me if this does not describe to a “T” the sin and defilement that Aaron and all of Israel knowingly and willing defiled themselves with?

Remember the subtle salesman is still at work. He has indeed made the sale – but he wants the sale to stick. He doesn’t want Eve to get a case of buyer’s remorse. She may suddenly fall on the ground and cry out to God that she has sinned and ask for mercy. Even in the Garden that would have been bad for the sale.

So she eats the fruit and it is everything that her heart desired. She gets everything the serpent told her she would get. She tastes the fruit, and it’s absolutely delicious – it’s the food of God.  It was probably like nothing she had ever tasted had before. Knowledge suddenly in an intoxicating wave floods her mind, she’s laughing, giggling, dancing around, and gratefully telling the serpent that this is all that she hoped it would be, and then more. And if the experience was that good the first time, you can bet that she went back to the tree and did it again. And the second fruit was probably even sweeter than the first one, and she probably received even more knowledge.

By the time she was done she had so wallowed in her newfound sin, she had so absolutely overwhelmingly corrupted herself she couldn’t say to God. I only touched it. I only took a little bite; I only ate one and repented.

Whatever this fruit was, it was probably stained everything it touched. She suddenly discovers the sin stains on her lips and chin, its on her hands and spattered on her body. Frantically She tries to cover her sin with leaves but it is to no avail. So she has to hide from God.

In the case of this corruption Aaron, and the seventy elders in themselves had only a certain interim value, the real target of the devil here was the laity – from which the seed of all of Israel and the Messiah was to come.

And as the Laity was the target then so the Laity of this hour is yet the target of the serpent for from the Ekklesia is prophesied to rise the Eklectos of God and these are to be the overcomers and destroy the works of the devil. So if the deceiver can corrupt and destroy all of the Klesia and the Ekklesia – there can be no Eklectos walking in the light as He is in the light.

Looking at the corrupt church of this hour I can see how some might wonder how any of this could be as we tend to follow and be discipled to men – contrary to scripture. We also tend to worship, adore and give all our prayers go to these our supposed leaders -- that is our Pastors, our Teachers , our Evangelists – and this is also contrary to scripture.  And what do we typically pray – for God to illumine their minds and their understanding, so that they can preach what the Lord is saying to us.

Does this not strike you as being more than a little bit odd that we are walking in the same fallen thing as same thing that the children of Israel when they said And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.” This should give one some pause, as when we do these things we are routinely told we have received the earnest of the Holy Spirit and are supposedly walking in the priesthood of all believers.

We also pray that our preachers, teachers, and evangelists, might be given strength to continue IN OUR PLACE resisting the devil, and IN OUR PLACE showing forth the light of the gospel. And as has been discussed elsewhere we when we pray and do these things we are actually their enablers, putting them in a position they belong not in and all the while begging and seeking God that He might bless these people in corrupt and perverted ministries that they do not belong in.  And I thing most have some sense that if they were not begging and praying for these preachers and ministries that the Lord being grieved would have cut them off long ago. God finds this Christian armchair behavior utterly reprehensible. And if the truth be told, all of us to one degree or another do this very thing.

Jesus declared: He came to minister, and not to be ministered unto.
In the Garden of Gethsemane Christ did ask the disciples to pray for him off to the side while He prayed so he could receive their empowerment.  And while I have never heard such a thing preached or implied I do firmly believe that his very thing is being taught now in some corner of Charismatic or Word of Faith movement.

When Christ asked his disciples to accompany him that night it was not a request to for them to pray for Him, it was a request that they pray and seek God for themselves. Several times in the gospels the Apostles recorded that Christ went off alone to pray all night.  While the disciples I guess made merry around the campfire, slept or fought about who would be the greatest among them. In the Gospels we clearly see that Christ maintained his own prayer life – and most of the time he accomplished this alone.  And in His teaching the disciples on prayer praying one on one in thy closet alone was its central feature. Christ ministered to the Apostles, he ministered to the disciples, he ministers to Jews Samaritans publicans harlots and the poor and when there was no faith he still ministered and laid His hands on the sick and healed them. How was that so?  Did Christ set up 24 hour prayer chains for his ministry? Did Christ have people fast for him? Did Christ have people go into spiritual warfare groups and do spiritual warfare in His behalf so he could go into a city and do miracle and heal the sick? And for good measure I will ask did Christ need offerings and money to anything that he did? The answer is no, no, no, and no.

The Gospels reveal that the disciples and Apostles during the 3.5 years of Christ’s ministry did little to support Christ in his ministry. And as a mater of fact they speak much to them being a hindrance. In cases of their unbelief, in cases of their running interference of keeping the sick and children from coming to Christ. In constantly fighting among themselves and jockeying for position in Christ’s nonexistent carnal earthly kingdom, and on more than one occasion voiced the will of the devil. And while Christ rebuked Peter for voicing that his ministry should go on indefinitely and that He should never die.

No preacher today would rebuke their disciples for praying or saying that they should live on an extra 10,20 or 30 years. And on the issue of death many preachers and ministries have been shown to be absolute liars, for they fear death and fight death – Yet in Revelation Jesus says I am He that liveth and was dead and behold I am alive forever more – and I HAVE the keys of hell and of death. I have observed this thing in many, many, preachers over the last 30 or so years.  And I have come to a conclusion that in their heart of hearts they know that they have sinned grievously before the Lord and have compromised many, many, times in what they taught and what they once believed. And they have done so not at the rebuke or correction of Christ but in order to attract larger and bigger audiences, to build that better mousetrap, so that they might have more sheaves that they can lay before the Lord’s feet at their death in some vain hope that God’s head will be turned with their bribe.

The word MINISTER in the Greek is Leitourgos  means  “one who ministers relief at his own expense.” And we see this so clearly in Christ’s ministry. We see that Christ did not seek earthly wealth and riches to support his ministry. We also see that He did not seek the spiritual support of his followers either.  Christ did not have his disciples set up in prayer chains round the clock for His ministry, Christ did not have his disciples performing spiritual warfare in their prayer closets on behalf of Him and his ministry.

How many times have I heard preachers and ministries declare that they COVET your and my prayers. What they are really doing is they are sapping our prayer energy. They are sapping the life’s blood of the church for themselves, while they sit back like bloated tics gorged on that vital church blood.

God puts you in contact with people that nobody prays for, people that nobody cares about and what do you do, you waste all your time praying for your preacher as does everyone else in the church?. The church is failing before our eyes. All of Europe is on the verge of being swallowed up by Muslimism and instead of praying for the church at large or the nameless nobodies that none cares a wit for we send all our time praying for ourselves and these Christian celebrity ministries hoping that by our prayers we can hitch a ride along with them and receive some of their reward. And all of this is done in complete disobedience to the Lord and is counter to all we see and read in the Gospels and epistles.  By design these are to have you flitter your life away while still as unthinkable as it may sound since we are talking now about prayer – never coming unto Christ, never coming into an intimate knowledge of Him – and never being converted as demonstrated in the lives of the Apostles. But we expend all our energy praying for all our personal wants and our preacher and we then collapse in sleep.

And on this regard if ANY that have begun this corrupt practice and are praying for “this ministry” (I do not consider it such ) and in regards to my health problems – CUT IT OUT! Stop now. I am in God’s hands. And my walk is determined in what I say and do before him. It is not determined by how many I can wheedle into trying the get God to hold a more favorable view of me than I deserve.  If anything I fear that somehow some might persuade God to alter things in my life so as to short circuit what He has been working in me. I need to pray myself that I may apprehend that which I was apprehended for. And if I can not pray through myself, If I can not wait on God till he visits me, or if I can not be obedient to that which He has spoken to me I am not worthy to enter into or operate in His ministry or calling for my life.

In like manner most believers in the Church have been taught to pray and use their vital link with God to complain about every ache and every pain they have every day, and for some that may well be an all day effort. Instead of being “God’s Prayer Line” or the “Hot Line to Heaven.”  Prayer for many has devolved into the NAG-LINE, where we endlessly complain, chide, and tempt God, like the children of Israel.  In our prayers we complain, and speak with great contempt of all that we have been given, and we routinely cry out that we are going to die, and that He has placed us where He is going to kill us.   And we endlessly pray for the leeks and garlic of Egypt. We pray to return to our old comfortable bondages, and we pray corrupt covetous prayers for all we see around us that others have, deeming what they have is much better than the pittance that we have.

In the Gospels we see that over time Christ’s disciples observed in some way Christ pray.  And as they did, they saw in themselves a complete and utter lack in that area. But when they looked at Christ praying they saw substance and though they attempted to imitate this, they found themselves falling woefully short. And so one day they came to Christ and said Lord teach us to pray.  And Jesus said: “pray this.” And he proceeded then to dictate word for word what they should pray.

Now it as not occurred to this movement that ever seeks deeper truths and a deeper knowledge of God that Christ could lay out for us such a simplistic prayer and then expect us to actually use it.

So in Fundamentalist, Pentecostal, Charismatic, and in the Word of Faith Movement this prayer dictated word for word by Christ is out hand rejected as nothing, or at very best taught as a poor man’s spiritual guide to true prayer. Consider now the true meaning of their words, for what they teach concerning the Lord’s prayer is exactly what they teach concerning scripture, Christ’s words in the gospels or Paul and the other Apostles words in the epistles.  And the song goes like this Jesus or ______ did not really mean what he said in the gospels or _______. So when Jesus or _______ speaks  rather than follow or obey what He had to say we can instead use “his words” as guideline, or as a sort of template for our lives.  And in so doing it would not be spiritual to say or teach “His actual words,” when instead we can use our own corrupt words or our own imagined interpretations of His words and hold them as equal with scripture.

Is this not exactly what preachers and ministries do already? Do they not cherry-pick what they preach and teach and line-out all they do not believe and teach their followers to do so. So how hard is it to comprehend that when these men would teach us to pray that instead of putting the Lord’s prayer in the hands of believers as a powerful tool to help mold and shape their lives in Christ, they teach men to despise Christ’s prayer and trample on His words and instead teach their own words and traditions instead to bind young believers to them instead of Christ.

Why do you suppose the Apostles put the Lord’s prayer in such a prominent place in the Gospels? And why do you supposes that the Apostles would have taken such pains to dictated to us this prayer of Christ word for word if the disciples and the Apostles had no regard for this, if indeed they had deemed it to be “Lower Realm” and thus below them? So is it shocking then that in the Didache we read that the Apostles actually taught the early church to pray this prayer daily, and even several times daily?

I will tell you now exactly why Fundamentalist people, Pentecostal people, Charismatic people, and word of faith people do not like to pray this prayer. The truth is that the Lord’s Prayer is a witness against much of what these people do and teach.  An example in the Lord’s Prayer is: “The kingdom of God is not our own kingdom or the churches Kingdom. Another example is it is “God’s will that is to be done” not our own will or the churches manifold inclinations in that regard. Another example is “Our bread is to be prayed for daily as coming from Him” – not by our having a job in a room with a view, or our partaking of some “Christianized” version of the American dream. Another example is “our reaping forgiveness only as we liberally sow our forgiveness unto others.” And then there is “our daily asking God daily to lead us not into temptation,” and “Our asking God daily to deliverance from the evil one.”

None of these notions out of the mouth of Christ are fashionable in the egotistical self-centered and Church-centered Gospel that is preached today.  All in the Lord’s Prayer attests that if we are “His disciples” and we are to acknowledge that we are needy and empty. And that not only don’t we control healing, or deliverance, but we don’t control our daily needs, and we don’t control our spiritual path or destiny. –  This is all hateful stuff in most churches and if we were to openly confess these traits as our spiritual state we would be called carnal. We would be called unspiritual. We would be told that we are not walking in kingdom truth. We would be told we are deceived and being beaten down by the devil and we are being robbed of our spiritual inheritance. And in order to counter the negativism of these “Lower Realm” beliefs (taught by no less than by Christ Himself) we would need to read Paul’s confessions as to who and what we are in Christ. We would be told to drop the Lords Prayer altogether, and confess these truths regarding who we are and what we have instead. And we would be told to pray these prayers of Paul multiple times daily.  – I have heard these things taught time and again over the years. And this is more or less Kenneth Hagan’s claim to fame. He has said that praying Paul’s prayers daily revolutionized his walk and was the basis upon which he received all his later revelations. Revelations in many cases that later turned out to be word for word the writings of E.W. Kenyon a prominent Baptist healer that ministered from the 1890’s -1940’s.

When one uses Paul’s writings to contradict scripture as well as the words of Christ – they do so at their own peril. And when one corrupts one of Christ’s “little ones” teaching them to treat with contempt or ignore the words of Christ and scripture they ensure for themselves a place in the lowest hell. To understand Paul is to understand how his words mesh with Christ’s words and mesh with Scripture.

For hundreds and hundreds of years theologians have allowed their imaginations to run wild, in ascribing meanings to Paul’s words and building doctrines on single words or phrases in “new” and “Enlightened” contexts that Paul never said or implied. And thus they use Paul to contradict and void out large bible passages, as well as to uphold their own corrupt teachings and doctrines.

So where we find agreement of Paul Christ and Scripture we can preach and teach with some certainty. And where we find stray words and phrases we seek God to show us their meaning as related to Christ words and actions and that, which is written in Scripture. And over time if it pleases Him he may choose to will reveal the meaning of some of these things to us, but in the meantime we need to preach, teach, and live by the words that can be clearly understood. And by the words that proceedeth from the mouth of the Father clarify and reveal. And in the case of Paul and his prayers, nowhere does Paul say, “pray this.” Or I now give you this to superceded what formerly was called the “Lord’s Prayer”.

When we look at the Epistles much that Paul says and does is the spirit of the Greek word Leitourgos  “one who ministers relief at his own expense.” Translated as “Minister” or “To minister” We see that like Christ Paul does not covet believer’s prayers. His Epistles are instead filled with references of Paul praying and interceding for those who he preached Christ unto and for those that persecuted him. Paul continual speaks of believers as newborns, babes, and children all of whom he prays that they might have their eyes opened spiritually, all of whom Paul prays that they could see the hope of their calling, all of whom Paul prays that Christ might be formed in them, and that they might be able to rise to their calling in Christ. If anything I think we can at least partially grasp in this how Christ must have prayed for his own disciples and Apostles.

The thrust of the majority of Paul’s prayers are not for earthly and material blessing for his followers, as we might expect from the materialistic Gospels of Hagan and Copeland And the reason why is because all of these “needs” are already covered, not in the corrupt fashion described by Hagan and Copeland but in full-kingdom standards in gasp! The “lowly” Lord’s Prayer, of all things. Which gasp! Paul’s hearers were already engaged in praying multiple times daily.

At this time we are not going into a full-blown discussion of prayer but in the issues of praying endlessly for your pastor and ministers – Stop It! If they can’t pray for themselves and walk with God without you having to uphold their every footstep they do not belong teaching and preaching to you.

On the issue of “Nag-line praying” – Quit Doing This!  I have a strong sense from the Lord that when our spirit in us prays to God that it is a witness against us on the flagrant sin and corruption we routinely commit. In much the same way as Able’s blood cried out to God for justice, so if the Holy Spirit that indwells us is indeed “Holy” how is it going to speak to God concerning the temple it is charged with dressing and keeping when it is utterly defiled? I don’t think it winks at our sins and tries to cover for us, I think it fesses up and confesses the sin. And as long as our earthly prayers do not line up with what the indwelling Spirit of God is praying, and what Christ at the right hand of the Father is interceding in our behalf, I think that we are conflicted and our prayers remain ineffectual. I do not have a lot of Scripture at this time to back up what I am suggesting but if these words are true the Lord will abundantly confirm His words.

So what does this have to do with our wallowing in sin and so corrupting ourselves that we are without excuse? And what does this have to do with Aaron?

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel (Aggelos messenger) of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers (Those who are supposed to minister relief at their own expense) also be transformed (to appear) as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their (corrupt and perverse) works (of darkness.)

Aaron first and foremost was an Apostle this is discussed in “He Gave Some Apostles”  And we see that though he worked side by side with Moses but his heart was not changed, and Aaron never was converted regardless of how many miracles or wonderous works he performed .

In this passage we see Aaron is enacting what the false prophet of the antichrist will do in the end times. As John the Apostle stated of the False Prophets and False Apostles of his day “They were among us, but they were not of us.” So to when Paul was speaking here of False Apostles I can not help but feel that both men were invoking scripture. – And that by so doing both Paul and John are calling the churches remembrance to the sin and corruption of Aaron the first fallen Apostle of who like Balaam there is a fair amount of scripture to examine and consider.

There is room for some discussion as to how the Lord held Aaron accountable – but the fact remains that Aaron in Exodus 32 was the lone Apostle left standing through which God had worked untold signs and wonders, Aaron the man who had unlimited access to God, Aaron the man who had tirelessly preached the Gospel the Egyptians and to the children of Israel.  And in the hour of the church of Israel’s need Aaron is no longer “one who ministers relief at his own expense” He is Aaron minister of satan who has been transformed into an angel (Aggelos messenger) bearing a new and strange light.

As we have already stated, Aaron was not satan’s target, the laity was. Aaron was the minister through which the serpent hoped to snag the whole of the laity in one swoop. And more particularly the serpent desired with this inexcusable falling into sin and corruption that the laity and their seed might be cut of forever.  So in the scheme of things the possession of Aaron was chump change when compared what the real stakes of the entire laity in play.

In understanding what happened to Eve after her soul was corrupted and after sin was discovered in her heart, we have to consider that at one time Eve so loved Adam that she  would have gladly given her life to save him. But when she sinned she was so transformed by sin she became hardly recognizable. For Eve the little lamb was turned  into a ravenous lunatic beast that sought now only in her sin fevered mind to bring Adam down into her corruption, to cause his defilement and fall and in turn to damn all of their seed forever in the curse and living death that she had entered into. The devil had approached Eve not Adam and after she fell from grace she then became a minister of darkness.   She then went unto Adam as his helpmeet, as a trusted vessel beyond reproach and thus posing as an angel or messenger of light, and thus posing as a minister of righteous so that she might set about work on how to make the man Adam the son of God fail.

So too we can draw an uncanny comparison with the fallen Eve and the fallen Apostle Aaron. The value of Aaron is that he like Eve was a trusted vessel of seeming “impeccable” credentials. Where at one time he was the laity’s most trusted protector second only to Moses, seemingly on the turn of a dime Aaron has now become their most deadly predator. And this from this standpoint these sheep while having seen the Father, and having heard His audible voice, can hardly be considered as having entered into any level of relationship with the Lord. Instead we see that they bare great resemblance to the church of this hour. A church in which even though we are called to be “priests unto God” we are more disciples of our versions of Moses and Aaron, than of God.

John 10:4-5 And when the shepherd putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
Had the serpent come before Adam, Adam would have fled the serpent for he knew the voice of the Father. So the serpent instead sent in Eve a voice that Adam knew and one he would not flee from. When the serpent sent in Aaron to the laity of the children of Israel it was for very similar reasons. Had the serpent instead appeared as himself it is doubtful that very many at all would have heeded his voice after hearing the Fathers’.  Had he spoke of this rebellion through the sons of Korah which he later did, they would have had little sway among the laity because the sheep did not know the sons of Korah’s voice. And had he spoke rebellion through Miriam as he later did, she would have had little sway among the laity because the sheep did not know her voice. But when Aaron stood up that day on the preacher’s platform and said break off the earrings for those that might have turned away from this strange and corrupt Gospel, when they heard the mighty Apostle Aaron speak those words they were swayed and followed what he said even when it was in complete contradiction with what God had spoken only days previous.

And this very thing has been played over and over and over again in the church age. Upon generation after generation the serpent has sent in his Aarons and his Eves preaching other gospels and saying: “Let us go after other gods.”  And because the sheep have known these men’s and women’s voices even when their words have gone against their hearers increasingly corrupt understanding of the word of God these Aarons and Eves have prevailed upon the laity time and time again with their seemingly impeccable credentials they have followed these on an ever increasingly downward slope towards hell.

And through these fallen Pastors Fallen Teachers and Fallen Evangelists hundreds upon hundreds of other gospels and denominations have been built leading us to the tangled web we live within in this hour, where we have many masters and many voices all about us, so that few ever come anymore to the feet of Christ to learn of him.

For many the things that I have been describing here may sound foreign, and perhaps even unbelievable that one could even suggest that the church of this hour is in such dire condition.  I do not expect for you to believe my words – but I strongly suspect that in your heart and in your spirit you are recognizing and remembering some things that God has spoken and shown you since you first believed. And maybe at the time you did not know it was His voice. Maybe you were dissuaded from believing what you have been hearing from God at all, or perhaps you have tried to share these things with others and have suffered rejection, punishment, or have even been disfellowshipped for having dared to speak these things out.  To all of you I would say welcome. Be at peace in your soul for God has truly been speaking to you.

When Christ said to the church that broad is the way that leads to hell, and narrow is the way is the way to life and few there be that find it – He was not kidding.  And for many of us that find ourselves where we are it is because we have spent a whole lot of time searching rather than sitting under other’s teaching.

When Christ said “And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”  This knowing is a knowing that comes from much time searching and seeking the truth.

I feel a great sense of urgency in the Spirit to cry out and warn what I see coming. I feel an urgency to intercede for the lost and dying church that is all around us. And I feel a sense of urgency that those that have an ear to hear must cleanse and prepare themselves and help other to do so that can not as of yet help themselves in preparation for the coming tribulation and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

All through this lesson I see again and again the church and the coming tribulation.

I see Pharaoh as the antichrist his armies as the 4th beast in Daniel. I see Aaron as the false prophet one who has immense trust and respect of believers perhaps a Pat Robertson, a Dr. James Dobson, or the Pope and the man has been flipped and as Aaron does so the false prophet does he makes an image of the beast and causes all the laity to worship it.  This is the image I see and I can not get away from as I have been writing this. But even this is not yet the passages I have seen where Moses speaks of the great tribulation and the end times.

So let us now continue. And still after Aaron and his confederates created the image of the beast Moses still did not come.

4 And he received them (the castings) at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they (the artisans that melted the gold made the molds and did the graving work, boasting of the work of their hands) said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Still with all the time that went into getting this sin this far along – it could have stopped there. Aaron could have said: I went down to Moses tent and read the New Covenant we just made with God and I have discovered this great sin we have done – let us repent of this and perhaps God will not punish us as he did the Egyptians. – But that did not happen. And not one of the 70 elders cried out against the image they had created and the madness of all that they were doing. Not one tribe separated themselves from this. Not one person ran to the altars of dirt that still were standing and made a burnt offering unto the Lord and cried out for help. Not one.

Exodus 32:5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD.

So greivieous and so odious is Aaron’s complicity in all this that after this for all intents Aaron lost his Apostleship over this. And though Aaron was later named as high priest it is demonstrable that Aaron suddenly and quickly was replaced. Leaving us to suspect that he died in his sins and was unceremoniously buried on top of Mount Nebo.

Make no mistake here that Aaron had become an angel of light, a minister of darkness.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles (Apostles that God did not Apostle), deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel (Aggelos messenger) of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Enoch 53:6 And He shall (have His angels) then cast them into a furnace of blazing fire, that the Lord of Spirits may be avenged of them for their crimes; because they became ministers of Satan, and seduced those who dwell upon earth.

The book of Jeremiah is unique in that it speaks repeatedly about prophets that Jehovah had not Apostled.

Jeremiah 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, (Greek I Apostled them not.) neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Jeremiah 23:31-32  Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not (Greek: I Apostled them not), nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 28:15  -Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; (Greek The Lord hath not Apostled thee) but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.

Jeremiah 29:8-9 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, (Greek I have not Apostled them) saith the LORD.

Lamentations 2:14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

This verse is so rich in defining the difference between true and false prophets as well as true and false ministry.  This verse in Lamentations is alluded to in dozens of verses in the Gospels and Epistles.  What it is saying is that false teachers, false prophets and false apostles speak and teach vain things, or things that speak to their own and their followers’ vanity. And this speaking to or enticement is directed to both their own and their followers spiritual vanity (which we will define as extra-biblical traditions and gifts and operations that they’re intended and implied use lifts up and exalts men and ministies rather than God and Christ alone.) And this vanity by definition also would include thir preach and teaching of  the vanities and enticements of earthly wealth  earthly dominion and the pleasures thereof.  False teachers, false prophets and false apostles speak and teach foolish things, or they speak to their own and their followers’ foolish and slothful ) tendencies both in the natural  and concerning their spirituality.  Instead of the priesthood of all believers they preach armchair Christianity where the many sit back and support the few to seek God, pray fast read the bible discover spiritual truth and save souls in their behalf. This is no more acceptable to God than for us to hire surrogates to get saved for us.  In the book of Proverbs there is an unmistakable and repeated link made between the foolish and the slothful. So when we read of The Parable Of The Ten Virgins .we are immediately supposed to associates the five foolish with some kind of slothful behavior and the five wise with some kind of diligence and that of course is seen in the oil and the lack thereof. The Ten Virgins have many things in common they were all virgins they were all wearing wedding dresses they all had lamps they were all lit they all fell asleep they all woke at the cry in the night they all rose to meet that call but then the unexpected happened and they needed to share something that was unshareable. And yet they all still had an unquestionable desire to meet the Lord so the foolish ran off to town to buy oil and they did purchase it but that disobedience and slothfulness in the five foolish was deemed unacceptable. For what the five wise did out of delight and dedication the five foolish did only out of necessity when push came to shove.

And these false teachers false prophets and false apostles preach and teach their followers of their “false burdens” and teach their followers to consume their time with “false Burdens” And we can again divide this into spiritual and natural things. Natural things would be all the church programs, and ministries that do earthly and natural functions towards earthly and carnal needs – all with which we are told that the gospel can not be preached without.  And on the spiritual end of the equation we see all sorts of spiritual exercises, teaching seminars, and retreats, confession teachings, 24 hour prayer chains, spiritual intercessors that are neither, and these things by design can while away believers entire lives away without getting anywhere in God and achieving nothing of substance spiritually. Ever searching but never coming to.  The true intent of this if the truth be known is to keep their hungry and thirsty sheep busy – rather than allowing them time to press into God and do what is needful for them to grow in grace – because then invariably these sheep will see their shepherd’s nakedness and see through his words and traditions and begin to make trouble by asking questions pertaining to the darkness they see in their church and the light they see in scripture.

These “False Burdens” are a grave reality.  All too much that is palmed off as “growth inspiring” and as “spiritual activities” today. When I first arrived at Pinecrest in the Fall of 1976 somehow I got acquainted with a married student named Gary who lived on the second floor of the New Yorker he worked nights at Beechnut. He was angry and bitter over what he called the excesses of the 1974 revival.  He spoke of several meetings beginning with one that ran all day and late into the night and he and others had to leave and go to work. Well the following morning he was given a earful of how he had missed god for his entire life because after he had left; this great Latter Rain Prophet had laid hand on every student and they had all received at his had all five of the five-fold ministries. He told me that he was depressed as the meetings progressed and late at night these prophecy parties continued throwing out gifts, callings and ministries like they were pieces of hard candy to a mob of small children. He then told me after a few weeks he came to realize that despite this claim of the students that they had imparted to them all five of the five-fold ministries and other things that they were exactly as carnal and unspiritual as before the meetings had commenced and in fact Gary stated that in his observations these students had in fact received nothing. And they left with no ministry no calling and many had actually fallen away. Today I see his words as having great depth and insight  -- and I see what he saw among a few at Pinecrest at the heart of the Pentecostal -- Charismatic movement. Unsubstantiated and empty claims of gifts ministries and operations just to keep the sheep stimulated and abuzz. One ministry that is at the center of this is Rodney Howard Brown. And there are hundreds of Brown wannabes with their self proclaimed prophets and apostles doing exactly what this student described to me in 1976.

Jeremiah 5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

These things are because the sheep love it so. They are the direct result of the sheep loving vain things foolish and slothful things and false burdens. This is a case of supply and demand. When churches cry out for the onions and leeks of Egypt invariably one shall arise from wither within or without to feed the sheep what they demand. An Eve, an Aaron, a Balaam, and what they offer though it seems like truth, and many times it comes wrapped in scripture the intent of it is to corrupt the Laity absolutely, to get them to wallow and obsess in sin and selfishness so that they and their seed might be overthrown and rejected.

In so doing these things these doers add to themselves sin upon sin rather then coming to the feet of Christ and seeking his cleansing to bring them to a state of true conversion where we can walk with Him in the light as He is in the light.   For 1960 long years generation after generation of Christians had been rejected of God and overthrown in the wilderness.

Will we go the way of all our fathers before us or will we forsake all their doctrines traditions and idols and turn to the true and living God?

Lamentations 2:14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

That they: discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity
In Moses the true Apostle we see quite the opposite in that Moses continually exposed their sin. And continually sought for their cleansing to the end that they might all be priests unto God and walk in the same relationship with God that He had. We see this so clearly in Christ. And we see this same thing so clearly in Paul but sadly in the church of this hour this is not preached or taught. Rather we see a corrupt ministry that desires above all else to addict men to themselves and their teachings and to profit therewith. And therefore they cannot and will not spend any time much less day and night preaching of Sin Righteousness and Judgment – so that they might discover thy iniquity – and turn away thy captivity  -- So that you might truly become sanctified s that you can truly become kings and priests unto him. – So that you might truly walk in the light as He is in the Light, and hear His blessed voice and go and perform exploits.

This message is hardly conducive to building mega-churches and world wide ministry filled with disciples that slovenly worship the ground you walk on and tell you of how all they have and know they owe it all to you and your ministry. That cultivated behavior is so abominable, that cultivated behavior is so vile that cultivated behavior is so corrupt – God hates that.

Some need to read these words over several times, and then think and meditate on these things so as to let God open new horizons in your spirit, that you may no longer walk the aimless and careless walk you have walked in depending on others to sustain you.  God wants you to know Him and for you to walk with Him on your own two spiritual feet.

Exodus 32:5 And when Aaron saw it (the completed Golden Calf) he (without the slightest reservation) built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said: “Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD.” 6And they (Aaron, the seventy elders and the laity) rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play. 7 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: 8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and  (they) have worshipped it, and (they) have sacrificed thereunto, and said, (They) These be thy gods, O Israel.

We see how God has imputed sin to Aaron the 70 elders and the Laity over this event 1) God said they have corrupted themselves. 2) God said they have quickly turned themselves aside out of the way. 3) They have made themselves a molten idol 4) they have worshipped it 5) they have sacrificed unto it 6) they have confessed and professed “These be they God’s O Israel.”
God’s accounting of this event is most serious for He views us inwardly and outwardly. He judges us not only by the words that come out of our mouths but by the words that do not as well.

Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts
He judges us not only by our actions, but by the works of our hands as well.  In other words: These people were guilty in Thought Word and Deed.

And before we jump onto our high horse and ride off into the night decrying the Children in the Wilderness’s sin and unrighteousness – we need to see that as we have followed the teachings of our Aaron’s and our Eve’s we have absolutely and positively so corrupted ourselves as the children in the wilderness that we are without excuse, and that we are as in desperate need of our being cleansed as they were.  And I will not put any ifs or buts or any qualifiers on that statement. One of the hardest things to see and hear at the hand of the Lord is our sin and guilt. Because only when our personal sin and guilt is seen and explored, can His cleansing and forgiveness have any meaning, and I dare say only then can His cleansing and forgiveness have any real and lasting effect in our heart and soul.

So much of what we supposedly walk in and believe is only theoretical in nature. They nothing more than romantic thoughts, idea’s, concepts, gaseous and vaporous beliefs that are and aren’t, that appear and disappear at almost a whim.  Because many live this kind of ethereal and empty Christian lifestyle, they never come to any spiritual substance. These have build their spiritual walk on sand, and therefore their deliverance from sin is only theoretical in nature. Their deliverance is nothing more than romantic thoughts, idea’s, concepts, gaseous and vaporous beliefs that are and aren’t, that appear and disappear at almost a whim. (Sow to yourselves in righteousness and reap in mercy, Give (unto the Lord) and it shall be given unto you pressed down shaken together in full measure shall God pour into your bosom.)

Likewise their severance from the things of world is empty, and their receiving substantive forgiveness from has no substance and no concreteness either.  I know of what I am speaking here.

Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

The church today is a people that have been forgiven little, and love Christ little. We need to become a church that has been forgiven much, and loves God much. Think of this as a challenge to leave no stone unturned in your life until you get wholly cleansed till you are fully changed within and without

I need to address once more that the most important aspect of what I seen in this passage concerning corruption is that had Aaron only failed God that would have been ok. Had the 70 elders and Hur and Nadab and Abihu been out there dancing naked around the calf that corruption would have been containable, But when the whole of Israel were eating drinking, dancing naked, partying in a drunken revelry making offerings and singing to the image of the beast that is hardly recoverable. And we see that that this very behavior regarding the worship of the beast the image of the beast and the name or symbol of the beast is cited in the Book of Revelation as unrecoverable as well.

And as it has been clearly demonstrated throughout these chapters God was not looking for the response of the elders the priests or the notable men like Aaron. God was and still is in our day seeking to make the laity priests unto him. So also we see the enemy is not as interested in corrupting the leadership of a given church or movement he is seeking the wholesale corruption of the laity and their seed forever.  That is not to deny the biblical record of Eve, Aaron, Jeroboam the son of Nebat, or that Lone Levite after the captivity who single handedly that was able overthrow the entire laity in one fateful swoop. We need to never lose sight that it is the sheep they laity or the least of these my brethren that are and always have been the enemy’s target.

The Lord has opened my eyes and has made me to understand that The Law of Moses that we understand as The Law which Paul speaks of as being: The Law of Sin and Death is not what we have read in Exodus chapters 19- 32. The thirteen chapters we have just read are in actuality what we call: “The New Covenant” and all that is written in these thirteen chapters are referred to continually by Christ, Paul and the other Apostles. The law of sin and death is what was given unto the children of Israel after their falling away and their so corrupting of themselves in Exodus chapter 32.

Paul makes quite a few curious statements regarding the Law that do not fit well into the mold of the Calvinistic/Lutheran doctrine, which so many of us have been taught.

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Therefore without the Law there is no knowledge of sin.

Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
The Law is not sinful to a believer or of a lower realm is has a very important place as teaching that which is holy and profane, clean and unclean.

Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment (is) holy, and (the Law and God’s commandments to Moses are)  just, and good.

Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 9:32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled (Pros-Kommatos) at that stumblingstone; (Pros-Kommatos – and the word rock)

1 Peter 2:7-9 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling (Pros-Kommatos), and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble (Pros-Kopto) at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

The word “stumbling” in the Greek is Pros-Koptos  we are told means: to dash against, or to beat upon (Lest thou dash thy foot against a rock)

Pros means: “the side of”  or “the outer edge”

And Kommatos is actually the word Koptos which means: to cut, to smite, to punish, to vex, or to suffer anguish.

This is not a sidewalk upheaval that one might trip over, or a stone along a dirt trail down to the pond behind farmhouse on which one might stub their toe.

This is a sharp stone shard that not only cuts the object that one cuts but it also cuts the one that wields it to do the cutting.

So then what was the Law of Sin and Death? Paul declares it was and is “a schoolmaster” of the Children of Israel and Paul declares it is the schoolmaster also of those who come to Christ. Paul declares that some believers walk or are led by the spirit and for those who are not they fall under the condemnation of The Law. What Paul is describing here is that what befell the children of Israel. For if the truth be known not all of them walked under the Law. Joshua and Caleb were men of the Spirit and did not perish but entered into the promise of God.

The purpose then of The Law was and is for the repairing of the children of Israel to bring them unto righteousness – David says this over and over in Psalms – this is speaking of the Law as a schoolmaster. So also is the Law yet for the fallen and lost church for the repairing of  them. Paul speaks of us being under tutors and governors  Until we see him (Christ) as he is

The law was given not as a punishment as many would teach and believe, the Law was given to teach what was holy and profane what was sin and what was upright before the Lord  -- in other words it was given to repair and cleanse God people and to restore the breach

In like manner I have long eluded to that even while the Apostles were yet alive the church was failing and so we read:

Ephesians 4:11-12 And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting (Greek: the repairing) of the saints, for the work of the ministry,(A working demonstration just as Christ himself did) for the edifying (Not making happy, but for building, or for a repairing of the breech) of the body of Christ: (Just as Christ repaired the 11 Apostles during his ministry – so that they could come to the point of conversion.)

You now know that the Ministries of Apostle Prophet Evangelist Teacher and Pastor were not exclusive to the New Testament and the coming of Pentecost. We have assumed that the Prophets and apostles etc. that Paul is speaking of is himself but that is not necessarily what he is speaking of here for the Apostles like Moses and the other five-fold ministries in scripture who’s recorded words dictated God’s will and purposes in the Law and the Prophets arguably did so not just for the perfecting of the saints in Israel but the saints in the church as well. And we might point out here that the prophetic and the office of prophet in the book of acts is given weak testimony – as Agabus hardly approaches the level of Isaiah, or Ezekiel, or Daniel. And the exploits of the Evangelists Pastors and Teachers in the New Testament is somewhat lacking as well.

So at very least we need to consider that Paul may not have been bragging on about how good and important he and the leaders of the church were, as opposed to saying how important the men and women that gave testimony of truth were in scripture and through their words as spiritually discerned in Corinthians as our spiritual meat – we can be repaired and perfected thereby its use. This is in line with what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2-3 this is in line with Pauls testimony of the Law and Prophets in Romans and this is in line with the book of Hebrews and the retelling of Moses and the Prophets as examples

Why is it not that Paul Peter and Hebrews as examples of Faith retell their own and the apostles exploits?  Is this not exactly what every ministry and church does in this hour. I will suggest to you that to do so would have been lifting up and exalting their own names and ministries and that was completely unacceptable to God then and it still is now.

We are going to move now into a few passages I recently stumbled upon and the Lord in His great grace opened up to me concerning the great tribulation and the end times.

Deuteronomy 29:2-4 And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land; The great temptations (Greek To be put to the test, To prove whether something is good or bad) which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles: Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
This is a fabulous passage of Scripture Moses says that the Children of Israel have seen all that the Lord did before their eye in the land of Egypt. Unto Pharaoh and his servant. I am going to tell you what I see in the Spirit here and if you see it fine, and if you don’t that is fine as well . Pharaoh here is a type of the Antichrist. All his servants are a type of the Muslim hoards that are later prophesied of as the fourth beast of Daniel.

So we have here a passage that says that which our eyes have seen which our ears have heard (the word that proceedeth) and our hands have handled.

And Moses takes them from the deliverance from the beast and his armies to the entrance into the promise and he Speaks of the Great Temptations – this in the Greek is the great time of testing (The Great Tribulation) and in the great tribulation in Egypt they say great signs and wonders in the heaven and the earth with blood etc. –this is what Christ describes in Matthew 24, and in the book of Revelation.

However even though these children of Egypt went through this great tribulation and all had seen the signs wonders and great deliverance out of  the hand of the antichrist and out of the hands if his servants – yet the Lord had not given that generation a heart to perceive, nor eyes to see nor ears to hear (Lest at anytime their hearts be converted) This is speaking of after the millennium when Satan shall be loosed once again and this is where Aaron the angel of light appeared with the golden calf.

Deuteronomy 4:30-31 When thou art in tribulation (Greek: Thlipsis) , and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter (Greek Eschato) days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither (allow anyone to) destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, (Greek: Thlipsis) such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, (Greek: Thlipsis)  and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

To me this is so marvelous, two years ago when the Lord first began speaking these things to me in Exodus 19 –32 I saw a lot of imagery that was in the book of revelations the trumpets the lightenings and thunderings and when God visibly appeared the description of his throne is also in Revelation now we find even more here concerning the Great Tribulation in the last days. We note here that  repentance is specifically mentioned, the hearing of the word that proceedeth from the mouth of the father is mentioned and obediance to the word that proceedeth is mentioned  -- and with these three things (the same three that are mentioned in Exodus 19 as the covenant of being priests unto God) God promises he will not forsake thee and will not allow any – the antichrist and his servants the Muslim hoards to destroy thee, He will not forget this covenant which he sware unto your fathers (Abraham Isaac and Jacob)

Deuteronomy 4:32-39 For ask now of the days that are past, (Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.) which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? 33Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?

This is so significant a prophecy Here God is asking for Israel (the ek-klesia) to ask for the days in the past – now one might think He is speaking of the mighty deliverance He wrought in bring them out of the hand of Pharaoh – the Antichrist and Pharaoh’s servants, but we see here that God is asking the Ekklesia not only to recall but to ask for the days that God created his son adam whom he delighted in. and God asks was there ever such a great thing as His delight in Adam or Adam’s delight in Him? Has anything that has happened between that day and our day been comparable to that day and the Love the Lord had for the man adam and the Love that the man adam had for his father? And the answer is none. There is nothing that can compare. God then asks did ever a people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire as thou hast heard and lived? Yes the children of Israel in Exodus 19-32 , and in Acts 2:4

Deuteronomy 4:34 Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, (Greek To be put to the test, To prove whether something is good or bad) by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to (Past tense) all that the LORD your God did (Past tense) for you in Egypt before your eyes?

This next verse God now prophesies of the Church a people within a people a church within a church the ek-klesia. Never in Egypt were the Israelites called out from among the Israelites. And how is this separation to occur between the Klesia and the Ek-klesia by temptions  -- by the great tribulation by signs wonders by war and a mighty hand and outstretched hand of God calling them unto himself as a mother calls unto her chicks.  And by great terrors or the fear of the Lord  -- see here now he is no longer speaking of  Pharaoh and Egypt  -- He is prophesying that in THE GREAT TRIBULATION OF THE LATTER DAYS it shall be like unto the deliverance of Israel form Egypt..

35Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. 36Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire. Deuteronomy 4:37-38 And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; 38 To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day. 39Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

And of this time the Lord shall drive our from before the greater and mightier nations to bring thee into the promise. This is all a question of the fear of God. And the Lord shall test thee to see whether thou fearest Him above the most terrible and dangerous army of the Antichist? And whether though fearest him above the lives of your mother father sister brother wife or children? And whether though fearest him above thy own life? And if thou shalt be found to fear the Lord above all this then the Lord shall put his fear upon thee and one shall cause a thousand to flee and two shall cause ten thousand to flee ---

Deuteronomy 7:6-7 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

Here again we see God Prophesying about His people being priest unto Him. And we see that He is not prophesying of the many of the two million Israelites that left Egypt and He is not prophesying of the Many of the Klesia of the church that now numbers 2.5 billion but he is prophesying here of the few of the Ek-klesia.

Deuteronomy 7:15-17 And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee. And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods.  For that will be a snare unto thee, if thou shalt say in thine heart, these nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?
While many ministries call attention solely to these “promises”, and solely to what “they get” I see with Paul beyond this I will not become entangled in making merchandise of the gifts of God but instead I press on the goal  -- to the mark of the high calling which is to be that priest unto Him to walk in the walk that He had with Adam.  And here God warns that the beast and the prophet with the image of the beast and the name and number of the beast shall try to be a snare unto even the very ek-lektos the outshining sunbeams of God. And if thou shalt fear the antichrist and his servants saying how as being small and powerless can I disposes them then you shall be snared and taken.

Deuteronomy 7:18-20 Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; The great temptations (Greek To be put to the test, To prove whether something is good or bad) which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid. Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed. The Lord then commands the ek-lektos the ek-klesia that they shall not fear the antichrist nor their servents but you shall remember what God did to Pharoah the type of the antichrist and all the armies of Egypt, your will remember that great tribulation which they saw the signs the words the mighty hand the outstretched arm by which the Lord delivered them. – And this is again a promise to the ek-klesia to them that are afar off and to as many as shall receive Him SO SHALL THE LORD THY GOD DO UNTO ALL THE WHOM THOU ART AFRAID –BUT THOU FEAR NOT AS GREATLY AS THE LORD. For the :Lord shall make them afraid of thee and they shall hide themselves from thee and the Lord shall destroy them.

This is why the teaching of the doctrine of the pre-tribulation rapture or as it is also called the “secret” second coming of Christ is such a damnable heresy.  The Rapture is the abortion of the church – so that its seed can never be birthed, or enter into the fullness of what God called Adam, the church in the wilderness, and later the early church to enter in. This is why Christ died on the cross that this event might occur and that a group might fulfill what Adam could not, what the church in the wilderness could not, and what the early church could not either for all of which never received the promise. And the rapture is a doctrine that preaches the abortion of all that Christ shed his blood and died for and in so doing it tramples the son of man and his precious blood underfoot.

Hebrews 3:7-9 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

Hebrews 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
The end that the writer of Hebrews is talking about here is the end of the Great Tribulation

Hebrews 3:15-19 While it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
The subject matter here is hearing the word hat proceedeth

Deuteronomy 7:21 Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.
The Apostles and the Disciples of Christ feared the Priests, High Priests and the Romans. They feared what men could do to their families their friends and their bodies

After they were converted they no longer feared men. They no longer feared the priests and the High Priests and the Romans.  And they preached the Gospel openly and as a matter of fact they preached daily on Solomon’s porch and we see in Acts that the priests were put in fear on their own turf of these Apostles. And if we look in the Gospels we will see that Christ also had no fear of these men and that these men instead were made to fear Christ. And we can see this same thing in Paul that he had no fear of the Jews or what men could do to his body – this a the sign of conversion, this is to love God with all your heart soul mind and strength, this is not loving houses lands mothers fathers sisters brothers wives or children before the Lord, this is to fear the Lord.

Fear causes us not to hear the word that proceedeth

To a disobedient and stiff-necked people they received a five fold ministry in place of them hearing from God himself. This occurred with the Children of Israel after exodus 32 and this occurred with the early church after the apostles died and the church fell from grace.

1Samuel 8:5-20 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them. And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king. And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your olive-yards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of (the bondage, and the servitude) your king which ye shall have chosen you (shall burden you with); and the LORD will not hear you in that day (and ye will not hear the word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Father – for the kings you have set before him to hear His words for you). Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.
And as truly as the Lord liveth – when the Antichrist shall arise these hard hearted and stiff necked people will be consumed with their pastors, and their teachers and their evangelists and their prophets. And both as blind men shall fall together into the ditch of their grave.

The pastor teacher evangelist and prophet and apostle are not the positive thing for the perfecting of the saints that men have blindly preached.  The perfecting of the saints was something that had to have been done to unbelieving disobedient carnal corrupt babes that were stiff necked and hard-hearted as the Israelites so that by any means some might be saved

Psalm 115:6-7 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
This is the ministry of our day The implications here that in a Church that has long ago given up their idols of wood stone and metal their preachers and teachers have instead become the klesia’s idols. Bring far more damage and damnation than the Idols of wood stone and metal did because they could not preach or teach.

Exodus 14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians.
Here we see the fear of the Lord coming upon the armies of Pharaoh and it is all the Lord’s doing there is nothing in this verse about Sonship or any companies rising to their calling. This is the hand and the arm of the Lord being made manifest to an overwhelming and armed to the teeth foe.  It is not by might nor by power but by my Spirit  and that is not including any manifested group it is God alone, Christ plus nothing.

Job 23:14-16 For He performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with Him. (according to what He willeth) Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him. For God maketh my heart soft, (as He converts my heart of stone into a heart of flesh) and (for it is )  the Almighty troubleth me: (and not the devil)
Job knew something of the workings of God that we do not.

Psalm 27:4-6 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

David knew something of the workings of God that we do not for in his youth when he suffered great persecution from Saul David came to fear God above Saul and His armies, David reached conversion, and David discovered the protectiveness of the secret place of the most high --  and all the days of David’s life not a hair was touched on his head. And except that David sinned a great sin his wives and all his children would have been so cared for by the Lord also as demonstrated in Solomon even after he sinned and fell away from the Lord,.

Many are the afflictions –troubles of the righteous but the Lord delivereth  him out of them all.

Isaiah 22:4-6 Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people. For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.

Isaiah 32:9-11 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come. Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.

This has been the holding pattern in which the church has been for the last 1800+ years. And it will continue until the vintage Spirit that was poured upon the church is utterly removed utterly fails and the harvest utterly fails in the great falling away.

Daniel 7:15 I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

We need to dramatically reassess our views on these prophecies and the end-time teaching we have heard and preached. When Daniel saw and heard these things Daniel did not have a halleluiah party. Instead we read when he saw these things was grieved in body and in Spirit. The visions troubled him filled him with fear and conflict for the destruction and the loss of life regardless of how corrupt or ungodly it may have been it grieved Daniel body soul and spirit to see these things. And this is much in line with the love of God for the world and His giving of His son for their redemption when they did not want it nor would have ever asked.

Daniel 7:28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

Daniel 11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: (The fierce king)  therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make (take) away many. (out of the way, as was in the days of Noah)

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Habakkuk 3:15-16 Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters. When I heard, my belly trembled; (My Spirit trembled) my lips quivered at the voice (of the Father): rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest (perish with all the others) in the day of trouble: when He cometh up unto the people, (when) He will invade them with His troops.

Zephaniah 1:15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness.

This great tribulation is described here in the imagery of the Children of Israel standing before the Mount of God with Moses in Exodus 19. And we see that in that day they were filled with trouble they were a conflicted people filled with distress, dismay, terror, and the wrath of God towards them.

Zechariah 10:2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they (Their false shepherds and false prophets) were troubled, because there was no shepherd.

1 Peter 3:13-15 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear (of the Lord).

What is the fear of God?  it is not our having a fear of sickness, it is not our having a fear of disease, it is not our having a fear or torture, it is not our having a fear of starvation, it is not our having a fear of death, it is not our having a fear to what they can do to our friends, family or relatives. The fear of God is the lack of fear or all of those things. For to have a fear or any or all of those is to have a respect in those above the Lord who created all those things and of this Paul declares:

Romans 8:38-40 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, (Pharoah) nor powers, (The Armies of Egypt)  nor things present, (Nor any present circumstances in your life, sickness disease or any other limitations) nor things to come, (the coming great tribulation) Nor height, (Physical Mountains that Christ declared could be moved)  nor depth, (Physical seas that Christ walked on and God parted ) nor any other creature, (Nor any other thing God has created) shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
