John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone. Beginning in 2008 the vision and bible school
that God so graciously gave Wade Taylor beginning in 1968 came to an
abrupt end, falling into the ground and dying.- |

Dear Friends As some may know we have close ties with Wade Taylor as a former student from Pinecrest Bible Training Center, a staff member for several years, editor in the sly for The Banner, web designer for Wade's current website, and his webmaster for the last three years. In the January of 2008 the Lord prompted us to request a copy of Wade's database with all the articles he had from The Banner. After receiving Wade's incomplete Banner Data Base on CD we prayed and waited on the Lord on to see what we were to do it. During which time Wade decided due to my poor health that he would have someone local to assume the position of webmaster of his website, a decision which I welcomed as I was no longer able to offer dependable service at the point of time when it was needed. Sometime later in March Wade and I had a lengthy talk about the "New Powers That Be" in Pinecrest that had cast Wade Taylor out and disfellowshipped him, I can not say I was at all surprised as the Lord has been giving me prophetic dreams about Pinecrest beginning about 4 years ago, and these have intensified in number during the last two years. Quite a number of them have been greatly troubling, and speaking to changes greatly displeasing to the Lord that were being made at Pinecrest. Understand here I have not physically been in the school since the Summer of 1985 and that I have never met the current president nor his wife. But God has tied a cord to me with Pinecrest that I can not explain, I have attempted to cut that cord many times but the Lord will not release me, as there are purposes between myself and the school that must yet occcur. As I write from my hospital bed in my room in the middle of Alaska. I know how small and how insignificant I am, and that neither physically, nor finacially, nor spiritually of my own power, can I effect one grain of sand on that property. But I do know the Lord, and I do know what God has shown and spoken to me. And you and I will see what comes to pass as God overrules and takes control of that which belongs to Him alone, and sets in order that which He has purposed. Wade is not the kind of man to speak of these things so no mention of this has been made on His website. What he told me is not secret in any way and if anything, a number of people have been greatly dismayed in the last year or two when they went up to Pinecrest and expected to see and hear the things that they had read in the Banner or heard from Wade Taylor as he traveled and taught in churches and fellowships. Wade has been getting a lot of phone calls and letters about the goings on in Pinecrest these days, but has remained largely silent, as per usual. So the powers that be decided they wanted nothing more to do with Wade and the School's past so they took away his apartment, they took over The Banner, they removed all his books from the school's bookstore, and even removed his picture from the wall of the school as its founder. They have also renamed the school from Pinecrest Bible Training Center to Pinecrest so as to legally make the school a new entity. And why was this all done one may wonder? Filled with great fear as he stood before the Lord, God began to speak of the School that He desired. Of Pinecrest being a school where God's manifest presence could rest. A place where students would not be encumbered by accademic standards and goals, but rather where students would come into a deep abiding personal relationship with the Lord, where students could learn to pray, learn to wait upon the Lord, learn to hear the voice of the Lord, and most importantly learn to be taught of the Lord. Pinecrest was to be a place where the Lord Jesus Christ could be the teacher, and order the classes as He would. Much of this is and was completely counter intuitive to teachers at Pinecrest who sought to teach, as it is and was completely counter intuitive to preachers at Pinecrest who desire to preach. And by the earthly standards of those that sought to weigh, measure, and quantify, what students were receiving from the workings of the Spirit. -- Pinecrest was a complete enigma that would frustrate those who sought to take the school by its reigns and then by the hand of men seek to make something happen that could then be adjusted and manipulated by men into what ever image and likeness they wanted it to be made into. From my five years spent at Pinecrest, and having spoken to many that were there prior to my arrival in Fall of 1976; Pinecrest always seemed to have had an identity crisis between what it was called to be, and what the staff and faculty there sought to make the school and its students into. There were deep rooted problems in the school, there were careless, neglectful, and faithless acts done in the school that greatly displeased the Lord and were very hurtful and costly to the school, and its students. -- But irregardless the Lord was at Pinecrest, and for those who fervently sought to meet with God and would not be deterred, everything was in place at Pinecrest for them to do so. The core of Pinecrest's message was one of devotion to the Lord, of one's submission and obedience to the workings of God in their life. And among those that received impartation of the Lord at Pinecrest, there was an understanding that the raising of any kind of end time people of God could not be done by outward mechanical means, but it has to be a work of the Holy Spirit to change our hearts of stone into a heart of flesh. Anyway, after we spoke about all of those things regarding the "Current Powers That Be" at Pinecrest and all they have done to redirect the school and place themselves as Pinecrest's "New Founders" -- I told Wade that I had felt compelled of the Lord for several days I was to on my own go and build a website that was to be an archive for The Banner. So that the issues where Wade Taylor was the editor would be preserved, and that all the things that the Lord gave Wade to publish over the last 40 years would be made available for the first time for all to see. So that many would be able to continue to receive of the Lord from what was a part of the heart and soul of Pinecrest Bible Training Center. I have asked Wade to pen a few things for this section of the website about his testimony and vision. It remains to be seen if he will do so. As he has never been real good about writing pieces on demand. If Wade does write the articles I have requested we will post them here ASAP One final note here sometime in the not so distant future we would welcome articles from all the older banners we are missing between the years 1985 -1972. If you do have some issues you might want to dig them out. It would help greatly if you would type all the articles in a given issue in MS-Word and either mail it to us on a CD, or Email the articles to us. We do everything by ourselves so to have to hand type out entire banners would only be done as a last resort. We have gone through what Wade has of The Banner that has already been typed out on a computer in MS-WORD We lack all Banner issues from Summer 1985 and older. -- To simplify things so that everyone does not type out the same issues, as we receive these missing issues we will mark off the ones that are done in RED but not yet posted. I would have a great deal of difficulty in dealing with any flood of mail as I tend to write long personal epistles to all who writes. I spoke with Wade and he said he limits himself to two paragraphs -- hmmmmm. I wonder if I can do that? Right Now There Is A Need For: MailBox@EkklesiaInTheWilderness We want to offer our thanks to efforts of all those who have typed out and sent E-mail copies of the Banner in MS-Word, their efforts have allowed many here and around the world to be blessed with the rich contents of the Pinecrest Banner.
